Maryellen — a Buffalo-based website designer focused on helping established local businesses build an online presence that feels as trustworthy as the business itself.

I've always had a deep respect for old trades, family-run businesses, neighborhood taverns, local shops, and the kinds of places that have lasted because they do good work and treat people right. Too many great businesses struggle today not because they aren't good at what they do, but because they don't have a professional online presence that reflects the quality of their work.

My goal is to help preserve and support those businesses by building websites that feel clean, easy to manage, and credible without making the process overly complicated or corporate.

Most clients don't need this — you'll own everything I build, and you can update it yourself or call me hourly when something changes. But if you'd rather have someone quietly handling it for you, here's the plan.

Up to 3 small updates/month · annual content refresh · domain renewal handled · 48-hr turnaround

Annual

$500/yr

Same coverage, billed once in January — one bill, done for the year

Small update = text changes, swapping a photo, updating hours/prices. Bigger changes (new section, design tweaks) are quoted separately at $75/hr. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice.

What's Not Included


  • Online stores or e-commerce
  • Online booking systems beyond a contact form
  • Major redesigns after launch
  • Email accounts or hosting outside the website
  • Social media management
  • Anything that touches your books, payments, or operations
